With team GB coach Mario
With 20 + years of experience as a coach and Judoka who recently appeared at the 2024 Olympics, we are incredibly fortunate to host Mario's Judo club here at NEMCA.
With its disciplined and nurturing environment, this club has a professional and enthusiastic approach with a high standard of teaching under the direction of Mario who is truly an expert in his field with a Teaching Diploma and having represented Italy's national Judo team. He has an enhanced DBS, is a winner of the Eric Leopard Award and received a nomination from British Judo for Coach of the year 2024/25.
Many of the children participating in this class compete in International Judo competitions and regularly achieve awards in gold, silver and bronze.
Age 5+ Monday and Friday 4:30 - 5:30 pm
Age 11+ Monday and Friday 5:30 pm
Wednesday and Thursday 6:00 pm
